I am a Senior Technical Writer with over 13 years of professional experience. Early on, I obtained a B.A. from Ottawa University and a Post Graduate Certificate in the Technical Writer program at Algonquin College.
I began my career as an Administrative Assistant with writing skills (policies, small user guides). I went on to become a Copywriter with SEO skills and a part time Technical Writer. I eventually moved on to my passion, Software Technical Writing and I have been in this profession for over four years.
I currently manage a team of Technical Writers (varying levels), Graphic Designers, and Technical Editors. My team is made up of US based remote and offshore (India) employees.
I am the team leader and develop all of the stylistic properties of the content, as well as the templates and format. I also chose the software we use to develop content and I am the Scrum Master for the team.
In my spare time I like to read and binge watch television shows with amazing story lines!
